Korean Language Training Course held by ASEAN Korea Centre and Tourism Malaysia

The ASEAN-Korea Centre organized a ‘Korean Language Training Course Program’ in cooperation with Tourism Malaysia from 9th to 20th June at the Tourism Malaysia Office in Putrajaya, Malaysia. Concurrently, the Opening Ceremony of the ‘Korean Language Training Course Program’ was held in Putrajaya, Malaysia on the 9th June.

The Korean Language Training Course was conducted for the first time in Malaysia during year 2013. With a great success, ASEAN-Korea Centre continue to hold this special program this year in Malaysia.  This language training is provided for tourism professionals of Malaysia to strengthen the capacity of ASEAN tourism professionals. In the meantime, It will further boost tourism by enable them to provide better services for Korean tourists visiting Malaysia.


The wonderful lecturer, Mr Qwon provided lectures on basic level Korean reading, writing, listening and speaking to the participants from the Malaysian tourism and hospitality industry. He also introduced useful Korean phrases that can be used in the tourism industry.

I am very happy and honoured to be one of the participant of this Korean language training course. I want to express my appreciation to ASEAN KOREA CENTRE AND TOURISM MALAYSIA for organizing such a good training course with great teacher for us.
