Opening Ceremony of Korean Cultural Center Indonesia

If you stay in Jakarta Indonesia and interesting about Korean culture, Korean Cultural Center Indonesia has been launched with the opening ceremony yesterday, July 18, 2011. Mr Seo Kang Soo (Deputy Minister for Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Korea) gave the speech on this event, He hopes that the friendship between Korea and Indonesia is getting closer and both countries can know each other. Mr Kim Young Sun (Korean Ambassador in Indonesia) and Mr Wardiyatmo (Deputy Minister for Ministry of Culture & Tourism of RI) were came also to this ceremony and gave their speech. Celebration performances from National Gugak Center, Seoul and Marusya Chamber Music from Jakarta were performed yesterday.

The objectives that people who are interesting about Korea can be supported by this cultural center. Korean Cultural Center Indonesia has modern facilities, library with Korean style windows has many books related to all aspects about Korea. Hallyu movies and Kpop CDs are available here. Internet, TV screens, auditorium and classrooms are available. Many exhibitions, seminars and Korean language course are held here. All of the facilities are available here to support and to introduce Korean culture in Indonesia.
