The Philippine Pavilion at the Yeosu Expo is located at the second floor of the International Pavilion D, just beside the Malaysian Pavilion, which is visible from outside the building. As you enter the site, “BoK” the giant clam mascot greets you.

Luckily, I didn’t have to wait in line to enter. The theme of the Philippine Pavilion is “Islands of Diversity, Seas of Connectivity”. Inside, you’ll see several funnels that projects to circular platforms surrounded by white sand (!)

On two sides of the wall, pictures on why it’s “More Fun in the Philippines” are projected. The theme song of the Philippine tourism ad plays continuously.

To the right side upon entering the pavilion, you’ll find a beautifully decorated wall with small screens playing videos of what one can experience in the Philippines.

There is a small nook called the “Fisherman’s Basket” where Philippine products are sold. There are boxes of coffee from the Philippines, pearl jewelry, bath products, alcoholic drinks and juices and more ;p

I bought a 70-gram pack of Liberica coffee and a bottle each of mango juice, calamansi juice and dalandan juice. Love the dalandan! I could’ve bought more items but they didn’t accept credit cards! I don’t usually bring cash with me and I only had enough money for the items I took. Hopefully, they could fix their POS when I visit the Expo again.   I have more pictures and a video of the Philippine Pavilion, but it’s better visited than seen on pictures. The best time to go there would be on July 22nd when they will have the “Philippine Day”.
